Coach Katie's passion is coaching people to be the best versions of themselves, using and teaching the methodology CrossFit provides. She's been doing CrossFit since 2015. Nothing beats the atmosphere of a CrossFit class. She is thankful for the CFHG community, and the fun everyone has while getting fitter!
Coach Matt is a full-time, mental healthcare provider since 1996. He owns and operates a private counseling and mental performance coaching practice in Huntsville, AL. Matt is a CrossFit Approved CEU Provider, a Lululemon Ambassador, and has been practicing the CrossFit methodology since 2013.
Coach Kristen started CrossFit in 2016 in Louisville, Kentucky and immediately fell in love with the atmosphere. She got her Level 1 and started coaching in 2018. After joining barbell club, she realized Olympic Lifting is where her passion and coaching strengths lie. Kristen loves finetuning our athletes' technique.
Coach Tyler teaches K-8 PE and coaches basketball. He has been doing CrossFit for 5 years. "I love CrossFit because it helps me physically, mentally, and improves my daily life." He wants to see athletes here at CFHG grow and work toward being better today than yesterday. And he loves lifting some HEAVY weight!
Coach Marie started CrossFit on Thanksgiving Day 2017. "CrossFit challenges me and prepares me to take on life both physically and mentally. It has had such a positive influence in all aspects of my life and I love coaching because I’m able to give that gift to everyone that comes through the doors!"
Coach Charles began his CrossFit journey in 2016. He began reaching goals he was never able to grasp before. In 2018, Charles loves coaching and helping other people reach their fitness goals. He loves seeing athletes get excited about achieving things they thought weren’t possible.
Coach Kecia grew up competing and dance and other multiple sports. She has always loved being physically active and teaching others to be lifelong movers. Coach Kecia teaches PE at a local elementary school and has been doing CrossFit for 5 years. She enjoys helping others learn new skills they doubted they could do.
Coach Charlie started CrossFit in March 2013 to get off medications for type II diabetes. "What I love about CrossFit is that it never gets boring and constantly changes." He currently works as a Program Test Lead for TSA testing Explosive Trace Detection systems for air cargo.
